HI Desmotimmy,
Welcome!
My name is Dee and I am the Director of Suboxone Assisted Treatment I am also the manager of our little forum.
What were the directions that your Suboxone Provider gave you when they gave you your Suboxone? Did they give you any instructions or just the medication?
At this point it really doesn't matter because the induction should be done in the office. But more and more we find the providers are just simply writing prescriptions and leaving it up to the patients to do their own induction.
I have just sent you a Pm after reading your "help" message.
I am more than happy to talk with you. The one thing to remember is that You are not alone. We do care about you and are always here to help you in anyway that we can.
Talk with you soon.
Dee

Hello Desmotimmy,

My name is Beth & I wanted to welcome you to the forum!! I am curious as Dee was about how your doctor was doing your Induction appointment because "normally" they want you there when you take that very first tablet to see how you react to it, as well as beginning to determine your dosage. It seems like you were just give some pills & said to take it about 48 hours into your withdrawal? Or did your doctor even give you a time from the last time that you used until the day that you should be safe to take that first dosage of Suboxone without putting yourself into precipitated withdrawal? I feel very badly for you because I still can remember how bad withdrawal felt & do not ever want to get there again. And we have got to help get you out of that living hell my friend! Did your doctor give you any directions? If you get to that point of thinking that you are not going to make it through one more day like this, then you could possibly call your doctor about the length of time & be able to take it asap! But please do remember that you really can make it through "just one more day" even if its minute to minute at times, but you can & will make it through this day until you are able to safely take it. I wish you nothing but the best of luck & all of your strength & all of the strength of all of us who have been right where you are today right here pushing for you to succeed! I hope that you will keep in touch & let us hear how things are turning out for you upon beginning the Suboxone, as you will just be amazed. It has literally saved my life! I wish you God's blessings & KNOW that you can do this!! Welcome to the LIGHT at the END of the tunnel....!!

Much Stength & Many Blessings,
Beth I love you
